With Xerox's DocuSP Color Controller in the Xerox iGen3, almost anyone can manipulate color and image quality to suit their required specifications. DocuSP simplifies the process of altering an image or page of a document. The DocuSP is technologically up to date despite it using the same intuitive interface that runs Xerox DocuTech production devices. So you still benefit from long job support and independent queue management, system level defaults, a wide range of page exceptions, customized client driver tools and job accounting capabilities.

With powerful object-level rendering, prepress operators can treat different page elements differently. In this way they can achieve separate ways for rendering text, logos and graphics, and photos. Objects on each page are optimized for superior image quality. Additional features like a patented full gray balance make the DocuSP controller suitable for the actual production environment.

Using parallel processing, the handling of large and difficult jobs is made easy by processing individual segments of a job simultaneously. The RIP speed for Postscipt and PDF jobs can be improved greatly without modifying the workflow of your four, eight, 12 or 16 1 GHz CPU's.
